Rutgers faculty on strike

If I were a trustee, I would begin replacing them immediately. It's 3 weeks before finals. This is timed to maximally screw over the students. If you do that, you are not an educator. Time for you to go.

Similarly to the teachers unions fighting to not go back to in person classes after like a year or more because of covid. They knew they were harming children. They didn't care.

Additionally, as a parent, if Rutgers bends to this strike, I tell my kid that Rutgers is no longer a choice for them.

Yeah just hire an entire new faculty. gtfoh.

You only need to start doing it before the strike ends. Academic faculty have it good. I know, I taught courses at a university that is currently listed in the top 10 in country for undergrads.
^^^^THIS^^^^
Start advertising for the hiring of new faculty. Perhaps you have to make a few hires. It won't be long before all of the "academic workers," who wear khakis and old sweaters to work, realize that they had it pretty darn good and end the strike.

Who is responsible for letting this dumpster fire called Rutgers join the B1G?
I texted @rutgersal but it appears he may be on strike. I did hear from someone else who works at Rutgers. They told me that it was about "working conditions". After thinking about it,(working at Rutgers and what conditions it must take to keep you there), I now understand.
