You gotta stop with the nonsense. Why are you even watching a game you know Michigan will win easily when there's many better games on. It's like you want to bitch. And just like that the referines enter with a phantom holding call on RU
Which is the problem. People overreact. Penn State could be down at the half today and there shouldn't be any concern. Bad teams often hang around early. This board would be in melt down if that was happening between PSU and Rutgers…or PSU against anyone.
Michigan had 223 yds in the first half and they get the ball to start the second half. They're not playing like a 24 pt favorite to this point but they are clearly dominating. The only risk is that when you let a team hang around one or two big plays can result in an upset.Which is the problem. People overreact. PSU at Illinois last week was different. PSU wasn't moving the ball like Michigan is today. That causes concern going forward, not so much that PSU was likely to lose that game.
The concern is overstated for Penn State until we play Michigan and Ohio State and that was going to be a concern anyway.Michigan had 223 yds in the first half and they get the ball to start the second half. I'll take the win but I'd feel a lot better if we could finally impose our will in the running game.17-7
And instead of first down, Mich gets a pick 6 on 4th and 2.Two refs just threw flags against Mich DB for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Then the head ref announces, “There is no flag on the play”. Huh?
They missed a shorter FG earlier in the game.Bad mistake by Schiano IMO. Rutgers could have kicked the FG and made it a one score game but they decided to go for it on 4th and 2. They previously turned it over on a 4th and 1.
Of course I wouldn't have expected a pick 6 but it seems to me you have to take the points and make it a one score game. Instead it's pretty much game over.

Rutgers was beating UM at half time last year. For some ungodly reason, except for last year Rutgers has played Michigan very closely recently. Okay scratch that now 24 to 7.
Who said ILL was better than Rutgers?Illinois > Rutgers lol
Rutgers generally gives Michigan a decent game though.
Who said ILL was better than Rutgers?
I said fans were concerned that PSU's offense was unimpressive vs ILL. I said Michigan moved the ball well in the 1st half vs Rutgers.
Are they?Illinois > Rutgers lol
Are they?
Illinois struggled with Toledo who hasn't looked good today against Western Michigan but may win
Illinois is also struggling with FAU--it's early so hopefully they right that ship but Illinois is probably on par with Rutgers this year. Illinois might have a better record because they play in the west so they avoid Ohio State and Michigan but if they played I think it would be a tight game.
IMO, Rutgers is better than Illinois this year. The Illini lost a ton of talent and some of their better coaches too. And Rutgers' QB could develop into something really dangerous.
Yeah which is fair...I just think Illinois is down this year. One elite kid and nothing else.No argument with the logic and facts. It's just Rutgers. That is all.
