Ryan Roeder is in his seventh season as the Giants' offensive assistant coach.
Roeder came to the Giants from Princeton University, where he served as tight ends coach and directed the kickoff return and punt return units. In 2012, he helped tight end Mark Hayes earn All-Ivy League honors.
In 2009, Roeder coached the wide receivers at the University of Rhode Island, assisting Shawn Leonard in leading the Colonial Athletic Association in touchdown receptions and earning All-CAA League honors.
From 2006-08, Roeder was the offensive graduate assistant at Temple University. Prior to his position at Temple, he served as running backs coach at the University at Albany (2005) and assistant offensive line coach at the College of the Holy Cross (2004).
As a player, Roeder was named first-team All-Northeast Conference quarterback (2002) and served as team captain leading Albany to the 2002 NEC and Eastern College Athletic Conference championships. He passed for 1,366 yards as a senior with eight passing and eight rushing touchdowns. Roeder ranks third on the career passing list and fifth in total offense in the school's record books.
Roeder received his undergraduate degree in a dual major of communications and psychology in 2002, and earned a master's degree in educational administration from the University at Albany in 2009.
Roeder and his wife Megan have two daughters, Lucie (6) and Callie (4), and a son, Jack (2).
