te/olb from Massachusetts. Only a 2 star. But, has three offers. BC, UMass and Bama. I checked his acct to see if he has a hudl film up and he does. Here it is. And, now some of our coaches are following him......

Hudl

I didn't see that coming

Do you think we like him as a OLB??

what about Frank, Gratton, Bill, Bob & Emmett?

I have seen high school football games in that area of Mass.. Not a traditional hotbed of 5 stars. Probably the reason for so little attention. However, the kid can clearly get up in the air and catch the ball.

his abilities to make difficult catches and pick up yac are impressive but without seeing him block one would have to assume that he is just another "big, slow wide receiver" as CJF would say.

first, the kid is 6-5, 230 as a jr in high school.

It's not hard to imagine him at 6-6, 260 by his soph year (or more). That's a big kid.

Second, he tweeted that he liked PSU a lot last weekend. He may well verbal this week.

Too bad Jesse James is off the the NFL

we'd have the JJ and a Dalton.

Would be hard for him to verbal without an offer first

Unless my info on offers on is wrong.

somewhere between DE, DT, maybe OG big kid that can run, yes

I could see that happening.

agreed, but he was on campus last weekend

after getting an offer from AL. Not hard to imagine he'd have been offered while on campus.

It's hard to imagine that no recruiting service would know about it

That's why people pay for these things

Sorry that probably came off as extra condescending

I'm just saying I
don't think it is likely soon. Plus I cant see Franklin offering him
when Angeline will be on campus again, most likely for blue white and could be on commit watch.

NP. How do these services know?

Who tells them? I would imagine the coaches don't, especially for a kid that is a) under the radar (until AL offered) and b) committed to BC. So if the coaches don't tell them, does the kid or his coach? Kid is committed to BC (just de-committed) and the coach is the coach of a pretty obscure HS, as I understand it.

I am not contesting your knowledge, just don't know how these "services" really know.

he then went to Rutgers where he was offered.

The Rutgers board said his Dad was from Piscataway

Yeah, I don't get it.

I'm skeptical on this whole situation. Not a whole lot of it makes sense.
