I spent the whole day yesterday at the CA state tournament. Had a great time and even had a chance to talk to Stephan Neal who still lives in San Diego. He was quite gracious about Atlanta's close but near miss in this year's Super Bowl.
About Seth - I think he is a little bit deceptive because of his appearance. Except for his size, he looks very young and he definitely does not have the mean look that I see on some guys. But when he gets on the mat, look out. In the finals, he did a head snap on his opponent and the guy went right down hard on his hands and knees so that Seth just spun behind him. After that he just tied the guy up and rolled him to his back for the fall. None of his matches went past the first period. In fact, his dad said the only match that did this year was in a tournament where the guy lasted to about the middle of the third.
As for college, Penn State is definitely on his radar, but he's being careful to keep his options open at this point. It's all going to come down to where he sees the best opportunity in terms of both development and money. You can bet that one of the top schools will get him. If it's not Penn State, it will almost certainly be Iowa, Ohio State or Ok State.
BTW - I don't know where you guys came up with the Big Snacks stuff. Nobody from Clovis called him that when he was wrestling.
