So I never understood this comment and going to the barber shop. I believe it's before my time. My wife went to Clarion and my family had a camper in Knox right nearby.
PSU match at Clarion a few years ago. We had to listen to the Clarion radio broadcast, and George's Barber Shop got a lot of mentions. Been a running gag since.
The live time comments on the forum of the play-by-play by those announcers is one of my all-time favorite moments from the forums. I've looked from time to time, but can't find it. They were talking throughout matches, only remembering once in a while that they were there to tell the listeners what was going on. There was a point where one of them was incredulous that something happened when he looked down, something like, "I looked down at my papers and when I looked back up something had happened. Did you see what happened? It must have been a takedown. Well, anyway, stop by George's Barber Shop for a cut and a trim." I'm laughing about it now.

I did watch live and I never laughed so long and so hard watching a wrestling dual. It helped that we beat Nebraska easily.
