Taylor is set at one spot as he was great last year in his first year as a starter, but the second spot could be Wade, Sutherland, or even Brisker. I read where PSU switched the SS and FS years ago under Shoop so Taylor is the FS, but plays as a SS. That being said, Brisker and Sutherland would seem better suited for playing in the box with Taylor playing a true FS due to his time at corner. I know Wade is currently the SS, but seemed to struggle in coverage at times. Taylor can play either spot and Sutherland and Brisker would be great in the box blitzing or in run support. Brisker is already at almost 215 would be an absolute hammer and based on his film would be a terror blitzing. It’s a good problem to have with so man big and physical kids back there to lay the wood. Just curious how this plays out.

In college, we had a safety/doorknob rule. If you fart, you had to say safety before another said doorknob. If you didn’t, you could be punched until you touched a doorknob. Very stupid, but I rode home in my buddies trunk from the frat one night back to east halls and farted loudly, got pummeled running through Findlay looking for a doorknob, it’s all handles.

The only issue with Brisker is unfamiliarity with the scheme and his teammates as he is a recent arrival. He may prove to be a quick study, or he may need some adjustment time. We appear to have enough depth that he could play in four games this season and have two additional years.
