Yeah it’s 28% abv and sells for about $240 for 24 oz. It’s a unicorn. This one is readily available and 14% abv.

New? This has been around for a long time. It’s worth trying for the novelty, but that’s about it.

I would never pay for it, and I hope nobody ever thought they were doing me a favor by handing me a bottle as a gift (though I’d share if it happened). But to balance out the value discussion I know many people that wouldn’t flinch at having two $125 bottles of wine at a nice restaurant meal, so it’s just a matter of what’s your poison.

I have a 15 (or more) year old bottle in my house. I’m told it ages well, but that might be a bit much.

Definitely a “fun” beer to have. It’s a novelty really. My wife always gets me a bottle when it comes out. To call it a beer is a bit misleading. It’s more of a liquor I would say. Still have a little left in my 2015 bottle. Usually only pour some for a big event like a wedding or birth of a child. Last time I had any was in 2016 when PSU won the Big Ten title. Poured small glasses for me and my friends that were still around.
