Not sure if anyone posted on this yet. Did anyone else catch Sanders talking about Parsons yesterday? He says about 3 times that Parsons looks like one of the best linebackers PSU has right now. Not sure if this is good news or bad news, ha.

It's good news. We recruited him because he was a beast, right? So, we should expect him to be a beast. Not sure if anyone posted on this yet. It's great news BTW.Not sure if anyone posted on this yet. Did anyone else catch Sanders talking about Parsons yesterday? He says about 3 times that Parsons looks like one of the best linebackers PSU has right now. Not sure if this is good news or bad news, ha.
Actually, he's one of those LB's that don't come around every year or 10 years is what it is starting to sound like. He'll make some mistakes as a young guy but his athleticism and strength at LB will be off the charts....tough pill to swallow I guess for some.Translation: He's a really good linebacker without experience on an average linebacking unit.
Real Penn State fan translation, he's another LavarTranslation: He's a really good linebacker without experience on an average linebacking unit.
Yeah, that's my take, but I hope he has a little smoother learning curve than Lavar did. Fewer mistakes and a little less freestyling. He's got to play though.Real Penn State fan translation, he's another Lavar
Why do I get the feeling that Miles is just going to have a HUUUUGGGEEE year?
I'll tell you why? He's talented and he's chomping at the bit. It think he's worked very hard and hasn't complained about playing time to any extraordinary degree. I think we're going to see a thoroughbred unleashed in Miles Sanders this season. He's going to have a phenomenal year. I feel it in my bones.
I think your right , more pitch outs and designed runs, vs mesh point options, and least (imo) a different scheme than the one they used with Saquon. Why do I get the feeling that Miles is just going to have a HUUUUGGGEEE year?

And let's not (not saying you are) compare him to Saquon. Saquon is Saquon. Miles is going to be a great back, I believe, in his own right. Just a different kind of back. Most backs are different anyway. I think so because he's very talented, would've started the last 2 seasons at most schools, but just kept at it even though it must have hurt to watch from the sidelines sometimes. This shows character to me. He'll be ready and he's going to be very, very good.I think your right , more pitch outs and designed runs, vs mesh point options, and least (imo) a different scheme than the one they used with Saquon.
Lavar was a 6'4 225 specimen (my observation -- pretty involved in weight training -- was the numbers were about right and that he added 20 pounds during his time here was a comfortable increase which didn't sacrifice too much lateral mobility or downfield speed). How goes his size at this age compare to lavar? Is his frame big enough to handle lavar muscle? Anyone have knowledge?
Barkley>Lynch.....for comparison....hopefully Parsons is the defensive version of SaSaSometimes a generational talent walks through the door and is better than the guys you have from the jump. That’s not necessarily any indictment on the guys with more experience - it could just mean that the new guy is really, really, really good.
