I always believed they were as good an addition that we could get without a return game. And will be more of a challenge then Temple. I want that game to start at noon so we can catch them when they are still sleeping.

ESPN has them ranked 83rd. At this point no one really knows, but this is not a game that worries me.

Actually, as many, I find it hard to believe Temple will be tough. I think we are now a 7 point pick? That kind of tells me the "experts" think they will not be easy. Normally we are a 14-28 point pick.
Really, the best news could be IF we play well and beat them comfortably we could have a BiG year?

San Diego State will not be terrible --- but make no mistake, the West is the crap division in the Mountain West.

The conference's FOUR best teams --- Boise State, Air Force, Colorado State, and Utah State --- all reside in the East.

I think Temple is returning 11 starters on a pretty solid D from last year (even though we burned them for 30) that was ranked pretty highly in the nation

and most of the starters on offense.

with that said, I think PSU will be a significantly improved team from last year. I'm not sure we should "worry" about any team until OSU if we keep our heads in the game and focus on the opponent at hand

Until I see some serious improvement on the OL, I don't think there's a game on the schedule (weak as it is) that is a "gimme". Still some growing pains to come from the sanctions.
