I don't have a problem w/ the Morning Call, so I'll excerpt and link. If someone else wants to post the rest of the text, have at it.

The autograph line for running backs stretched longer than 30 yards inside Penn State's Holuba Hall on Saturday. All the backs signed, but fans young and old lingered over one.

Saquon Barkley, who earlier had dazzled the crowd in the bench press, smiled for every kid who presented him with a football or a poster to sign. It's something his mom taught him.

"I try to be as nice and kind as I can," Barkley said.

Whether distributing posters downtown or posing with kids at Saturday's Lift for Life event, Barkley has become the draw of Penn State football. The Whitehall High graduate added to his legend Saturday, doing 30 reps on the 225-pound bench press at the team's annual workout fundraiser.

Barkley is a shining example of a student athlete and a good/humble human being. He is firmly in the top few college football players in terms of talent and draft stock. Yet, you never hear him boast. He is always team first. He is the first to congratulate another RB when they score. Kid is pure class

He is special on and off the field. We are blessed that he wears blue and white.
