Saquon was the best ever RB at Penn State, and may well end up being the best RB ever in the history of the NFL! OK, sorry to all the loyal followers of Lydell Mitchell, Franco Harris, Lenny Moore, KiJana Carter, John Cappilletti, Blair Thomas, LJ Jr., Curtis Enis and any other great PSU RB I missed. I too am a loyal follower of these great PSU RB, but none of them had the total skills package that Saquon has (running, receiving, blocking and even kick returner). From what we saw Thursday night against the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Eagles; Barkley showed a national NFL audience that even behind one of the worst OLs in the NFL, he can do it all. He was being compared to the All-time NFL greats such as Barry Sanders, Emmit Smith and others via old film clips. Is Saquon the best MFL RB in history? Of course he isn't, not YET! If he stays relatively injury free over a say a 5-10 year NFL career, and gets to run behind a decent OL, he has the skills, and most importantly the desire to be the BEST! Enjoy watching the Giants games , even us Eagles fans will!
BTW, as an Eagles fan, we had the perfect situation. Saquon had a fantastic game AND the Eagles won !
