Actually I did listen - and if you do so critically - it made me wonder if Ganim wasn't catfished by John Doe 150.

I wonder if 150 ripped a quote from Posnanski's book. I also wonder how much of the antagonist nature of the Patriot-News was in fueling this story. From what I understand, P-N has had a hard on for Penn State since the 90's. I find it hard to believe that a 22 year old can be such a wunderkind like Miss Sara.

To think that an institution like Penn State can be taken down by a 22 year old alum, a crappy central PA newspaper that failed to sniff out Second Mile, and a porn-addled, ethically challenged prosecutor.

Sara hasn't done shit since she went to CNN. The P-N has dropped to a 3 day distribution. Frank Fina has quietly left public service in disgrace.

You are, as always, right on the mark here....especially re SG. I saw her on PCN shortly after (I think) her "Pulitzer". It was some H'burg luncheon at which she was honored by a bunch of locals. Giggles,phoney, selfabsorbed and not very bright...and this was several years after her journalistic masterpiece. A real <1 trick pony.
