Another reason to appreciate Coach Franklin and staff.

I live in Portland Oregon and on this afternoons talk radio sports show the two hosts discussed Sarkisian's drinking incident. One host is a former NFL player and the other is a well seasoned reporter/host. Both said that Sark is a known big time party guy and has been forever. Also, the NFL guy said its common even "normal" for NFL players to take Vicodin and /or a muscle relaxers ( begins with an F ) with alciohol. Without these drugs the NFL wouldn't be as we know it. Guys need this mixture to get through the season and when they no longer play it is hard to stop. They don't take one or two pills but 4 and 5 at a time. The former pro strongly believed that Sark was doing these "meds" with the booze.

My point is - thank goodness we have Coach Franklin and the family values he preaches. He's doing it the Penn State way!

I saw a headline today on ESPN that said Sark mixed 'meds' with alcohol and would now be 'seeking help'.

Should have followed Chris Carter's advice and had a "fall guy" in his posse. That way he could go to jail and Sark could keep right on coaching and partying up. Get Snoop back on the sideline. Need more positive role models there.
