FB Recruiting Saunders shining early on at the opening practices for the UA All American game

Isn’t this just an exhibition game? He is signed with a full scholarship. Just a stupid decision for any kid signed with a major university to play in this type of game. He needs to think about his future.
Disagree. The players get to measure themselves against some of the best talent in the country. They also get publicity which can help them build their brand. This is the age of NIL.

I think York was maybe using a little sarcasm there…..?

The best thing about this game is the coaching. Most of these kids already had many opportunities to check their skills against similarly skilled players. Being able to be coached up by pro coaches give the players information to use to work on their weaknesses. The difference in abilities is minimal. But those who capitalize on this opportunity and put in the work gain by leaps in bounds in their first 2 years in college.

Sure seems as if their “future” only matters when it involves being paid obscene amounts of money to be a glorified gladiator. Who needs a free college education.

Both Saunders and Allen did not practice yesterday, said Allen hurt his knee-pretty sure Theo Johnson dislocated he's shoulder while practicing for this game two years ago.
