I had to share this before I pass out for the evening.
Corey Malone-Hatcher posted this earlier in defense of Quinn Nordin. Now look, he doesn't know all the details surrounding Nordin, so don't go off on him in this thread. I also give PSU about a 10% chance to actually earn his commitment. He's gonna end up at one of the Michigan schools or a Notre Dame. PSU is in the running, but I talk to his dad regularly. They have work to do.
But this is something that everyone on Twitter needs to keep in mind. Someday I'll go into more details, but in the past two years, I've had a handful of recruits tell me that some of things people tweet them played a part in that player choosing one school over another. Of course, that was only a small reason. Campus, coaches, academics, tradition and all that still played a much bigger role, but we have to all remember that these are teenagers. They read things differently than adults. Just another reminder that you guys need to think before you tweet at recruits. I don't expect this particular situation to come back to haunt PSU, but these kids care about what people say to them much more than some realize.
