Scholly #'s question

If I count correctly, we currently, as of today have 81 scholly kids, listed on the website.
These players are either graduating or leaving the team:
Von Walker is on scholly, so I am assuming that is a 1 year only deal

1. Hack
2. Zanellato
3. Carter
4. Breneman
5. Mangiro
6. Reihner
7. Barney
8. A. Johnson
9. Nassib
10. Zettel
11. Kline
12. Walker
13. Lucas
14. T. Williams
15. Either J. or A. Smith(I can not remember which one)

So…If my numbers are correct: 81-15 = 66
85-66 = 19
So, as of today, we have 19 schollies to give(the current number we have). So, we currently sit EXACTLY at 85…..does anyone else come up with these numbers?

Yes

Of course, a long way to go till February....even longer until July (or whenever the NCAA counts the "85")

Walker is a Jr., we was given a scholarship back in the fall(he was originally a run-on).
I am assuming the scholly was only for 1 year.

There will be more players leaving. I'm sure Brenneman is just the first you'll be hearing about over the next couple weeks.

The 85 number doesn't mean anything until the first day of fall training camp. Until that time, we can have over 85, if that's the way the numbers work out after signing day.

You don't really have over 85 until training camp as those that make up the 2016 class don't count until training camp, unless they enroll early. Not sure if the early enrollee's count when they start as they are on the team and practicing in the spring. They must not count as Bama and others reportedly have over 85 participate in spring practice and then cut down to reach the number they need to meet the 85 with the addition of the 2016 class signee's that quality.... But I don't believe the 2016 class that enrolls in the summer/fall for fall practice actually count until they show up
