2 first round picks, 2 second round picks and a player who was a first round pick is a lot. But it is a QB driven league..........nfm...
I’m a Chargers fan. I’m disappointed to see another great QB in the division. I’m shocked they gave up so much to get him. The AFC is ridiculous tough. By far and away the best division in NFL. Justin Hubert, Russell Wilson, Patrick Mahomes, and Derrick Carr as your starters.Boy Seattle got a lot for Russell Wilson, but having a QB is necessary in this era of NFL to win. Seattle got a lot of picks but they better find a QB with one of them.
I like how in your post you call him Wilson, if you watch any telecast it is always "Russel Wilson on the carry".....never just Wilson, I pointed this out during a Sunday night game and for the entire first half it was never just Wilson....always Russell Wilson. Other QBs is simply just Brady back to pass, Rogers escapes the rush.
That's a hefty ransom for a 33yo - Two first-rounders, two second-rounders, a fifth-rounder, quarterback Drew Lock, defensive tackle Shelby Harris and tight end Noah Fant.2 first round picks, 2 second round picks and a player who was a first round pick is a lot. But it is a QB driven league.......
I hear you, but then again as one of my late friends used to always say "No guts, no glory!" Time will tell obviously.I heard that Denver still has 3 picks in the top 100, so that softens the blow. However, I still wouldn't have done it.
the QB gets you to the play offs/ super bowl. The whole team and the defense wins those critical gamesTop QBs making top money certainly are entertaining, and put you in playoff contention pretty consistently. However, QBs making top money don't win superbowls very often in the rookie wage scale era. Stafford just won, but his cap number was very reasonable. Last QB who was truly earning top dollar was Peyton Manning, but Broncos won in spite of him. Brady was making a lot with NE, so maybe he could be considered the exception.
I don’t know man, the last two Super Bowls were won by veteran QB’s in their 1st year with the team. Adding a solid QB to an otherwise talented roster seems like a good strategy to me.Top QBs making top money certainly are entertaining, and put you in playoff contention pretty consistently. Why would the Cardinals do that?Just read an insider saying the browns and cardinals are going to swap QBs
Depends on their Cap #s. I think Brady's was 25 and Stafford's was 20......Key is getting QBs that outperform their cap number. At 40 mil a year, there are probably only 2-3 QBs that can do that. Otherwise, you are going to have too many holes in your roster when the QB doesn't perform, or only performs as a good QB as opposed to an eilite one. Prescott comes to mind first and formost.I don’t know man, the last two Super Bowls were won by veteran QB’s in their 1st year with the team. IDK, both QBs have been the same. Baker played with a dislocated shoulder and torn labrum all year, which for some reason, people don't want to recognize hurt his season. Murry faded and it is questionable if he can lead a team all year at that size. But he's got another year left whereas baker is on his last year. I've heard to give them both a fresh start. It may well be that CLE is throwing in a #1 pick or whatever. Who knows, really. Why would the Cardinals do that?

I'm not a huge Kyler fan but Cleveland would have to throw in a lot. Baker's not very good.IDK, both QBs have been the same.
