I know some of the family of Sean Clifford. I asked if there was anything that really made him pick Penn State. They said he really wanted Big Ten and is super excited about PSU. Apparently his first choice is Notre Dame, but since they have 6 QBs right now he felt that wasn't his best option. I asked if they think he would flip if ND had some openings and they said right now he is 100% PSU. His mom is very happy about the decision. The family are all big ND fans and alumni. They like PSU a lot and let him make the decision without family pressure.
Could be interesting to see how things play out with him over the next 2 years if ND offers, goes full throttle and some guys leave the program there. All I got for ya.
