See the link below. From the article:

"ARLINGTON, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee could miss out on a $2 million escalator on his 2016 base salary after being listed as inactive for Sunday's game because of a hamstring strain.

Lee has to play in 80 percent of the snaps in order to bump his $3 million base salary to $5 million. He entered Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins having played in 82.1 percent of the snaps. He was in uniform for a pregame workout, but it did not go well enough for him to try to play through the injury.

By not playing Sunday, Lee will fall below the threshold. The Cowboys could still give Lee the escalator anyway, though."

I hope Dallas gives him the escalator because he's a tremendous player and a good guy.

Do you remember a story a few years ago about another PSUer who became a Cowboy and gave up some big $$$ because he couldn't play due to an injury? When Jerry Jones asked him why he would give up the $$$ even though he could have accepted it, he said that he learned from JoePa that that was the right thing to do. Ring any bells?

Having said that, I don't want the Cowboys taking any more PSUers.

I don't believe that there are many other people who would have made this decision. I hope that the Cowboys see the example that Lee made and return the gesture by giving him the money.

Marco Rivera

Posnanski's book details the "salad bar" incident as well as JVP not allowing kids to use "University" pencils at home for their homework.

So you are a mind reader AND agree with his "presumed" statement regarding CSS?

thanks for the articles Zig....I always liked Lee, and I always liked Matt Millen & Clark. Both were great athletes at Penn State, also both had the opportunity to defend JoPa and for some reason both of them couldn't find the intestinal fortitude to do so.

Thanks for the reminder Zig,
Tom

Intestinal fortitude, Cajones, FAITH? Whatever it is, those guys are missing it!

I don't have a problem with his statements. You should note that it was the author of the article that inserted Joes name. Sean, in referring to "they" was probably referring to CSS.
RETRACTION IS CALLED FOR BY LEE.
Lee, is a professional, I'm a professional. If I'm miss quoted by the press, I want a retraction of explanations by the author.
