seems like similarities between Wittlake and Manville

both guys powerfully built, excell in Greco as well as folk/free...perhaps not as wide open offensively as we like, but that leaves room to improve under staffs guidance

I see what you're trying to compare, but completely different wrestlers. Wittlake is taller and leaner for his weight and built differently. Despite his Greco game, I actually thought he wrestled a more finesse match than a brute at WNO. Mason is straight put your head down, wear you down and plow through you. IMO, Mason's best comparison to a recent PSU wrestler is Matt Brown. Not a bad comparison if you ask me.
 
Wittlake was interesting to watch pre-match on Sunday. He looks to be a super-athletic guy - very agile and flexible with great balance. I have to believe with proper coaching he has tremendous upside.

oh Matt Brown...always enjoyed the bright red necks he caused on others...

Agree with this, Wittlake seems all finesse, smooth ankle picks and carefully set up go-behinds, where Manville is all about heavy hands and pain delivery.
