Very good. After decades of stability, PSU's fan base has a definite problem with reality. Coaches move around. Like everyone else, they see opportunity for advancement and do what is best for (themselves and their family).Florida schools seem to be after him - based on message board chatter. What are the chances that he would leave?
Over the past couple of years, Franklin has typically pushed some coach out the door. Maybe the 2021 coach to be pushed out the door is Seider since the Running Backs group did not do much this year. While the Offensive Line was a mess, it was clear that the Running Backs have not been taught to go vertical, but rather to prance around at the line of scrimmage, go horizontal, and not hit the hole hard.Good for him at Miami or Florida. Not losing sleep over it if it happens. RB was a mess last year (not necessarily his fault) and again this year (he must shoulder some of the blame as his guys couldn't hit holes and couldn't block). What has he done that someone else couldn't do? Any of his Florida recruits really pan out but for Lee?
Bottom line is maybe a coaching "cleanse" is necessary to get to the next level. I have no problem with it if there is a larger purse but get some type of commitment for stability. This is getting nuts.
That is how they had to run because they had no other increased skill for the position.Over the past couple of years, Franklin has typically pushed some coach out the door. Was he even Barkley’s RB coach. He didn’t even get here until 2018 and Miles 1 year as a starter wasn’t even that spectacular to be honest…I’ll also throw in there that he didn’t even do anything special with Journey because he wasn’t even starting until midway thru the year. IMO He’s a pretty average to below average coach based on his results. He’s taken a stable of 4-5* backs and made them terrible.I would be ok with Seider heading back that way. I am not as much of a JS fan as most. I just haven't seen his value. It is nice he has gotten Penn State Hats on a lot of decision days from Florida Kids but rarely have they put the Penn State Hat on. The ones that did never really made a dent in the program.
As far as his running backs....have they really done anything? And please don't @ me with Barkley and Sanders. That is like being born on 3rd base and thinking you hit a triple. Journey Brown was probably his biggest accomplishment and even he came in with world class speed.
