I tuned into Fox News Sunday and watched the interviews Chris Wallace had with Sens. Paul and Murphy.
I'm no Trump lover, but Sen Paul laid out several very good reasons why this latest Impeachment dog and pony show is a farce and just one more signal the lefties are determined to keep the fires stoked in their attempts to divide the country and silence anyone who disagrees with them (with a good measure of "punishment" delivered in the process for demonstrating their unreconstructed thinking).
I never had a chance to watch and listen to Murphy before this interview. Big surprise.......he's a partisan hack who will lie without hesitation to the face of the American people. He must know what he said was illogical and uber partisan, but he either is in Stage Three TDS or knows that in the current witch hunt environment sanctioned by the Soc/Dems he better get out in front of the leftist mob and lead the charge into political craziness......or risk having the mobs turn on him too.
Specifically, Murphy was asked about the Soc/Dem motivation and justifications for bringing the action. He actually said that Congress was following a Constitutional requirement to bring the Impeachment action under these circumstances. Later he admitted the Paul's reading of the Constitutional provision dealing with Presidential Impeachment "wasn't from outer space" or some such yuk yuk....worthy of a Kamala inane chuckle...
But the real clincher was when Wallace asked him about Soc/Dem examples of "inciting" violence against Republican officials and former Trump supporters......this is where Murphy demonstrated just how far the left is willing to go to lie to themselves and the public to gain more control of our lives. After watching Maxine Waters using far more "inciting" language to fire up a group of Soc/Dem supporters to attack the Trump and Republican officials, Murphy opined that these were two COMPLETELY different things and a "false equivalency". Why? Because Trump was trying to overturn an election and Waters wasn't AND because Waters was merely suggesting her minions "protest" and voice their opposition to Republican policies. Really?
First of all, what is the difference in directing people to use physical force against public officials (which actually happened after Waters and others called for it) for the purpose of changing the way elected official would otherwise vote or what policies their constituencies elected them to advocate and what Trump did? NOTHING. Far from being complete different, they are essentially the same thing! But, Murphy differentiates on the basis of political motivation...Orange Man Bad so what he says deserves impeachment.....Lefties Good so they are justified in calling for action by "whatever means necessary". See it's simple if you are a Leftie radical.....which Murphy apparently is.....
Paul pointed out in his interview (and Wallace challenged Murphy about it) that there is apparently two sets of rules here (WHAT!?! SHOCKING! I know....) The same rules ought to be applied to both sides. Equal protection under the law (particularly the 1st Amendment) and equal responsibility for truly unlawful conduct has to be the way. Unfortunately the crazy Lefties (many here) are all for enforcemnet against conservatives and Republicans but can't even imagine why anyone would think the same rules apply to them. They are in the right, don't you know. SMH
