Different bowl, different story, but flipping channels today, a football game on American Sports Network caught my attention, the Dream Bowl, and former PSU Brandon Noble was talking, serving as "Ambassador". Did a nice job.
Found these excerpts from a Dream Bowl press release this fall:
Neil Malvone, President of Cutting Edge Sports Management, hosts of Dream Bowl IV, is proud to announce former NFL star Brandon Noble has agreed to be game ambassador for Dream Bowl IV. Brandon will serve as honorary captain and will be the keynote speaker for the Dream Bowl Awards Banquet. In addition, Brandon will mentor the young college athletes about the work ethic and drive needed to play at the next level and will also provide financial advice through his own life experiences and current position as a financial analyst at New York Life.
Brandon will be returning home to Virginia Beach where he starred at First Colonial High School. Following his senior season, Brandon was named the Virginia Class AAA State Player of the Year for his dominating play on the offensive and defensive lines. Brandon played his college football at Penn State University where he helped lead the Nittany Lions to an undefeated season and was also named the defensive MVP of the Fiesta Bowl.
"Brandon’s success story fits the message and mission of the Dream Bowl which is the premier non-FBS college all-star game in the country. The Dream Bowl IV rosters are made up of the best players from the FCS, D-II, and D-III divisions of college football. The mission of the Dream Bowl is to provide these athletes the opportunity to promote their skills in front of NFL and CFL scouts for their dream of playing at the next level. Cutting Edge Sports Management Director of Player Development, Charles Stuller is excited to have Brandon as part of this year’s event.
“Brandon’s determination to go from undrafted free agent to playing in Europe to becoming a starter in the NFL is an inspiration to all athletes looking to make it to the NFL. His story will resonate with our athletes and their families,” Stuller stated.
Congrads to Brandon.
