1) I was telling my uncle and nephews.. I hope they leave that skinny frosh RB in at Iowa.. he'll fumble.. he hasn't been hit like this
2) gotta credit OZONE.. Stanley Steamer looks like he smokes cigarettes between series.. slow is one thing, slow and out of shape is another. Kid throws a great deep ball.. he has to be accurate b/c his WR's never get seperation
3) In the world of hired muscle, Mike Glocksley would be the dumbest thug bodyguard who is not allowed to talk to the boss @kjb32812
4) Iowa's skill position group is worse than PSU, OSU, UM, MD, MSU, MINN, WISC, and INDIANA.
5) Stop picking on Brian Ferentz.. he's really good.. sincerely , Jay Paterno
6) Wade an emotional leader on D.. who'd a thunk it?
7) #28 learning to play football.. still needs work.. the light was went on for #13
8) the best thing that ever happened to Clifford.. Pitt and Iowa.. great learning experiences
9) unwritten role.. if a team has the ball insider their own 5.. the PSU D must surrender 8 yards on a simple zone power.. tis written, thus it shall be.
10) while in Traffic.. just give the ball to Journey Brown..I'm going to argue that RB recruiting was a fail post Sanders... Brown and Slade are not starters.. Brown was a project. Our best RB's are #21 and #28 (correction.. happy now!!) .. not even close. Brown is fast but looks awkward in traffic. Brown should be returning kicks.. Hamler hits the seam about as well as me hitting Stephen Strasburg. it should be #28 and #4 on KR's.
11) Limegrover isn't bad.. his RB's have been iffy between the tackles. I love Saquon, but even now he is still learning to run when there is no daylight. Sanders was ok, but his vision was pedestrain, but guys like Hunt, Royster, and now Cain understand how to run a football in the A gap. Franklin addressed the limited variety avail to the run game (watch last night's Iowa post-game presser).. they increased the packages.. you now see things like the QB sprint-pitch to get some more variation.
12) KR game still sucks.. put Brown back there. Gilliken takes a long time to get punts off.. OSU will block another one again this year.
13) tackling was great again.. we have some ballers..
