*the coaches called a good game.. only call I didn't like was the 4th n 2 call.. there were plays to be made all over the field.. but poise was required and we lack poise and confidence.. esp at TE. The OC had tOSU D on their heels all night.. once again red zone and 3rd down was our undoing.. we had manageable 3rd downs all night and still didn't convert
*LB's not experienced enough to deal with that many play makers on the field at once.. no other team on our sched is even close to these guys..def the weakest unit on the D
*SaSa lived up to and surpassed my expecations, Godwin also shined
*some of the worst Right Guard play you will ever see.. esp on 3 step drops
*punting.. I don't think we could be any worse.. we would be better letting Hack punt
*I'll have a sep. post on tOSU.. very odd team, talented... but odd
*against a great team (not great in this instance, but loaded none the less), you need to capitalize.. see POISE above
*nice use of Polk on kick of return.. at this point #3 and Polk should hand all punt and KO returns.. with some Nick Scott sprinkled in
*OL actually run blocked decent.. both OT's sealed the edge on runs all game long
*probably should have taken Hack out at then end..
*we can beat MSU or UM... not saying we will, but UM is offensively challenged and MSU can't stop the run.. in this case they are flawed teams much like our own. NW and MD will be wins if SaSa and Hack can stay upright. In fact the whole league is flawed.. Bama is now looking like the most complete team out there.. We'll see how UM plays on the road.. they didn't handle Utah all that well.
*we were playing with house money and wasted a nice opportunity, if we execute even marginally better it's a 10 point loss at worse
