Lando to tell us all in the past. Also, they confirmed Connor was the man on sideline at CMU...shocker. Of course, Harbaugh denied all knowledge and his nose grew two inches.
We knew months ago he was the man on the sidelines. Literally, the joke right now is that they "confirmed" something everyone knew.
Why wouldn't Harbaugh deny it? Why would he say otherwise? Deny, deny, deny...
Nothing we found out is new. We know these things.
Again...the NCAA can't actually do anything about the past. Charlie Baker ruined that with "I don't regret doing it because sitting on that information, given the comprehensiveness of it, I think we would have put everyone including Michigan in an awful place," Baker said Tuesday night while speaking to a small group of reporters at the NCAA convention. "At the end of the day, no one believes at this point that Michigan didn't win the national title fair and square. So I think we did the right thing." And even if he didn't it doesn't alter what happened.
You realize I've never said they didn't cheat, right? Or are you still not following this?

Lando to tell us all in the past. Also, they confirmed Connor was the man on sideline at CMU...shocker. Of course, Harbaugh denied all knowledge and his nose grew two inches.

Again, contrast this with how FIFA (a true Sport Self-Governing Organization) severely sanctioned Canada's Olympic Women's Soccer team the day after they were found to have illegally scouted an upcoming opponent (i.e., the identical cheating scUM was doing albeit scUM was cheating, and proven to have been cheating, for years).

See Charlie Baker's quote....most here still don't comprehend they're in the minority on this.

I think that we all know that Michigan will be looking for a new head coach soon, whether because of scandal or performance. This hire seemed rushed to me, especially when that school could've brought in a head coach who already had had success at another program.

"Honest Abe" Harbaugh. I only read the quote- can't bear to watch the clip.

Years ago I had a salesman whose wife was an NCAA Investigation Director. Her most famous case was the UK recruit from Georgia who had a package being shipped to his father with $25,000 rip open in a UPS facilty in Louisville.

He said that ALL major coaches are guilty- but they also shield themselves so they can plausibly deny everything. Think Sean Miller at Arizona. It is interesting how Jimmah has nothing to say about the whole situation other than to cover his own arse.

Pure class. Hail to the Victors! Watch out for that bus Sherrod....

PS- The Chargers have been pretty much irrelevant to me since Dan Fours, John Jefferson and Kellen Winslow. They are very irrelevant in LA....even lower than the Clippers or Angels vs their A list peers.

Thanks to this GREAT, honest, straight as an arrow model of PURE virtue- I now have an interest in the Bolts again.....

I'm hoping they are worse than Nick Saban's Fins and that JimBo gets axed- but cannot go back to the college ranks.

Now at least their box scores have a purpose.

Based on Harbaugh's past jobs, he'll turn the Chargers into a winner and probably will get them at least to a Championship game. He may be detestable, but he wins whereever he goes, even at a place like Stanford where it's hard to compete with schools like USC.

As if anytime will happen …..🤬
Something will happen. Not sure what it will be yet.

There are also rumors (granted from OSU sources, but those sources have been pretty spot on so far, that there are also gambling allegations (within the UM coaching staff) that are coming to light soon. Recall that there was smoke early on that some of this was discovered by a firm that monitors gambling irregularities. Rumors involve federal investigators being in AA and meeting with NCAA.

Could get MUCH worse for Michigan.

I don't disagree.

I think he only has ephemeral success in the NFL but I think he is fairly miserable to be around and because NFL guys have longer tenure than CFB they get sick of his BS. But just my opinion.

What the hell else was he supposed to say? Tell the truth and acknowledge that Michigan cheated its way to a Natty?
Say nothing. You don't say what he said.
You can't make that comment then levy sanctions vacating a win--he loses that case in court in about a 5th of a second and the NCAA knows that
You all realize this isn't "pro-Michigan" this is accepting the reality of what is. Michigan's lawyers destroy the NCAA if they do anything touching last year.

Chargers have a franchise qb and are desperate to get a holding in a market where they couldn't even sell out a 25,000 seat soccer stadium. When the Eagles played them in Carson it was 85% green.

I agree he is a solid coach- and that his track record speaks for itself. However there is always a point where the expiration date kicks in. The NFL is a business to everyone involved, and head coaches likely have only equal power to players- and less so than Pro Bowl level stars.

In any case- Jimmah is a villian to me- and the Chargers suddenly have a modicum of my attention. I have a student who swam with his daughter in Ann Arbor. Speaks so highly of him. I do not doubt her sincerity. But boy there is a lot of smoke around this guy- and for him to be 100% clean would be a miracle.

In today's news cycle if you say a lie enough it must be true.....right?

It's a CYA statement to cover for his lack of action once it was shown that mich cheated their way to wins for years. He made that statement more than 6 months ago, with less than a year on the job, and before the investigation got started. He didn't even attend the game. He's a politician which says all you need to know about this guy and his motives.

If the Bolts can him, he could easily retire with generations to come set up nicely. Or he could go into broadcasting....wait....

Let's hope he struggles. Even though I despise both teams, Michigan and USC, they play each other in mid Sept so one has to win. A nice scenario for us is USC beating them in AA then we turn around and beat USC in LA.

Looks like Michigan hired Moore as the scapegoat. Deleting texts from the scandal's main actor? I don't think this guy survives the season. 1) Turnover and distraction may see them fall pretty far on the field and 2) Michigan knows he will get hit personally with allegations.

Yupp he was hired to keep the team together and then they'll get the guy they actually wanted next...or try to

He's on a short leash but if they make the playoff he is all of sudden their golden boy and they will make excuses for him.

We knew months ago he was the man on the sidelines.

of course we did yet after 10 mos the NCAA still does not know "how" he got on sideline. Hey, NCAA..how about sanctions against CMU and UM shill McElwain until they comply. That is a pure and simple cover up. Not like hundreds of these passes are handed out and process has to be clear. Sh*t, he even got the attire.

CMU'S McElwain's claim that he had no idea who Stalions was, or how he got on the sideline is especially pathetic when you realize McElwain's prior coaching position before accepting the CMU HC job in 2019 was on the scUM Staff as WRs Coach. Connor Stalions was on the scUM staff as a "Volunteer Coach" starting in 2015. In 2022, Harbaugh made Stalions a paid full-member of the scUM Coaching Staff (gee, I wonder why Harbaugh would do that if the illegal, cheating scouting reports Stalions was providing Harbaugh weren't valuable information???). IOW, Stalions served on the scUM Staff for 4 years while McElwain was on Harbaugh's Staff - 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. He knew Connor Stalions personally - it is ridiculous that the NCAA is not taking action against him after he directly lied to them and said he didn't know Stalions (and therefore didn't recognize him on sideline in CMU gear) and had no idea how he got there.

How about this article on Stalions (hit the following link):

Former D-III coach says U-M staffer hired him to record future Big Ten foes

I'm sure those texts were completely meaningless.
I believe they found the content in the deleted messages, they were recovered later. Given that the rumor is that Moore is facing only level 2 infractions it would seem he was smart enough to not put anything egregious down in writing while doing all of this.

The real lesson here is for other teams to cheat. The punishment isn't going to fit the crime so you might as well do the same thing.

So we agree there's nothing new...yes?

You have to promote a conspirator when you are running a corrupt organization. Can’t risk him talking. Simple as that.

The Moore hiring was like the Fickell OSU hire.

He will be fired and he will go to app state type school do well and then get hired but another school
