Slow time of the season so here goes. When any one of these movies are on TV I just find it hard to walk away. Love action films and shooting (trap, sporting clays and long range shooting).

Hard to say which one is best:

1. Shooter: Lots of long range shooting and the movie keeps going. Second, "hot babe". Third, one of my most favorite movie lines; "You don't understand. These boys killed my dog"

2. John Wick: Tons of action and some really good Jujitsu. Second, really neat and fast cars. Sorry, no photo of hot babe :(

3. Jack Reacher (the second movie): I normally do not like Tom Cruise, however, he is great in this role. Great sense of humor. Another favorite movie line; "You asked me what I'm afraid of? I'm afraid that I might end up like him". The movie keeps you in suspense. Third, Rosamund Pike is so incredibly hot in this movie :)

I could add Liam Neeson in "Taken", however, we'll leave it at the three above.

Love Kate Mara.

Tom Cruise did a decent job in the movies but he is miss-cast if you are a fan of the books. The books also go out of the way to describe Reachers size, he is enormous! Not 5 foot Tom Cruise, more Dolph Lundgren in his prime big. But, like I said, Tom does a decent job in the movies.

John Wick movies are fantastic!

I love the Taken movies, but the fact that Liam made his living in shot them up movies then says the US has a gun problem is a bit too much for me.

I will get off my soapbox now. How about Roadhouse? A cheesy movie that I cannot stop watching if I come across it!

I think you might need a social site vs a wrestling forum site.

what did you fine folks think about the new avengers movie?

if you did see, what was your reaction to the ending?

For a second there, I wondered why there would be a Fornite thread on BWI.

Reaction was hummmm, that raises many possibilities for future stories.
My grandson is 9 and we saw it together before running to Wegman's for the candy corner and home to watch the Black Panther on demand.
As we were walking out of the movie he was already writing the script for the next movie that entails time travel to stop the success of the stone collection. In my grandson's version he thinks they should go back in time and destroy the facility that manufactures the glove, but he believes that story would be too short, so he builds his script from that failure.

Anyhow I enjoyed the movie. Of course I am partial to anything that involves grandkid participation.

Thought you guys were from PA. Tom Cruise played defensive back for Ampipe back in high school.

I work with a guy that was in the movie with Tom. I've never watched it.

Cannot turn past Tombstone when I'm channel surfing.
Includes some of the best movie lines.

Point noted. If you look at the "McAndrew" boards (both wrestling and football) there are many posts during the slow time that deal with subjects that do not relate specifically to the board title. On this board there is a thread about: "things you don't want to eat". https://bwi.forums.rivals.com/threads/things-you-dont-want-to-eat.208350/#post-3467705

If you go to the football board, there are many topics not football related.
"Seinfeld moments": https://bwi.forums.rivals.com/threads/seinfeld-moments.208727/
"Scary hiking trails": https://bwi.forums.rivals.com/threads/ot-scary-hiking-trails.208743/
"Eye exams": https://bwi.forums.rivals.com/threads/eye-examination-refraction-opinion.208708/
"Has anyone been to Norway": https://bwi.forums.rivals.com/threads/ot-has-anyone-been-to-norway.208568/

To tell the truth I often read those "unrelated" topics. I learn a lot about things I would otherwise have no interest.

I like this board and how "TOM" runs the board. Best board that I have been on. I read what I want and ignore the rest.

Any discussion that like this that does not include movies that have real men as lead actors is not worthy of discussion. Needs Bruce Lee & Chuck Norris for sure!

There's a wrestling movie on Netflix I've not seen anyone talk about called First Match which was better that I expected. Low budget but good reviews, good, authentic performances (and my high school coach plays the ref). The wrestling depictions are good, not great, in that an informed audience like this one will probably see that the lead actress hadn't actually wrestled but was trained up for it, but the director appeared to cast all wrestlers around her.
