The capacity for or the practice of recognizing and respecting the beliefs or practices of others.
Not always, not according to the word of God.
We are forbidden to tolerate *respect) sin but also commanded to pray for sinners. God never respects sin, and neither should we.
Today's LGBTQ movement and the media demand more. They demand approval. Sadly, many churches have granted this. If you are in a congregation that marries gays or ordains gays, run for your eternal life.
PS Homosexuality is no worse than any other sin. We are called to take God's call for repentance and salvation to all.
Above all, we must love and pray for all sinners. In the past 2 Sundays, 9 sinners have repented and accepted Christ in the 9:30 service at my church.
