That may have been the case. May have also been the fact that we have been tailgating for many hours by that point. All I know is that man can eat.Clearly that 11 hour drive played havoc on your mind.
Who eats shrimp in Indianapolis?Did anyone else get to see history made before the game at the shrimp eating contest near the BT fanzone? Joey Chestnut at over 15lbs of shrimp in 8 minutes. I honestly enjoyed watching that almost as much as the 4th and 1 stop.

Yes, our group was there.....first time I ever saw a competitive eating contest. We tried the shrimp with cocktail sauce, just one cleared my sinuses for a week. Can't believe Joey ate 15lbs but I saw it live. My brother commented (loudly), "those will be even worse coming out than going in!!"Did anyone else get to see history made before the game at the shrimp eating contest near the BT fanzone? Well he won $3000. I guess that's worth it to the eaters lol. I'm sure the long term effects outweigh the money they win.I gotta say I don't understand the competitive eating events. What exactly is the point of jamming massive amounts of food down your throat?
Ya he was great. We got to see it. Loved having the announcer there that does the Nathan's contest. Probably a tad bit chillier than most contests.
Some people make a good living off both prize money and sponsorship, and believe it or not, they're not all big, fat guys. Some pretty lean fellows like the Japanese guy.
