So apparently that hypocrite also represents convicted child pornographers, and makes statements like:

"Defense attorney Andrew Shubin asked the judge not to send his client to jail but to place him on electronic monitoring. He cited potential problems Elder might encounter in prison."

I wonder how the victims feel? The next time some media automaton includes one of his quotes/soundbites, point them toward this article.

I would be shocked but after reading some of his prior statements he strikes me as the type of person that says whatever he needs to at the moment. It would be very fair for someone to question him in the press on this to show hypocrisy but the press frankly doesn't care.

Poor Shubin. The guy's just trying to make a living. He'll strive for justice wherever there's a fee to be found. Logos + ethos + pathos = bucko$.

The guy is advocating for his client. That's his job and a cornerstone of American jurisprudence.

Reconcile that with his quotes here, troll:

Anything for a buck, I guess! We didn't ask him to go out on a media tour- he did that of his own volition. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy, and that some who gave him 40% of their settlement $ might feel violated anew by his stance in this case...

Aren't dime a dozen defense attorneys (like Shubin) just those that couldn't make it into the prosecutor's office? None of them at that level have any true beliefs in anything, and in PA the defense attorneys might win the moral high ground - which shows you what a cesspool of corruption the state is.

I'm not sure why my response makes me a troll. Thanks for linking the article, though. I realize there is an insane amount of passion around this topic, but the law is free of passion. In each case, the guy was representing his clients. I understand it is this type of thing that contributes to people despising lawyers, but we would not have the freedoms we have, without lawyers who were willing to advocate, for even the most despicable criminals.
