The most "ear and eye catching" aspect of this - IMO (and I apologize if this was already discussed):

There is a BOT meeting scheduled for next month - just a few weeks from now. But the "committee" decided to hold a special off-schedule teleconference meeting - - - - SPECIFICALLY to make this change - - - - now, right now, just a few weeks before they were going to meet anyway.

That can't strike one as anything but "disconcerting".....I would think.

What's the reason for pushing it forward RIGHT NOW? Why would ANYONE even think "Hey, maybe we should call a special meeting for this item?"..........unless there was some compelling reason?

What the underlying rationale is/was? Who knows...at least not just yet.....but the odds are strongly in favor of SOMETHING smelling like rotten fish.

Possibly another attempt at a cover up? I think these clowns know the walls are closing in on them, and this is some feeble attempt to close past doors of sweetheart deals and over charging.
