Its a pretty good list and makes sense and his pick of Mauti (after explaining it is probably correct) but man how do you leave off Sean Lee?
I'd also take D. Clark over Mrob as a QB. I love Mrob as a player and person but INMO Clark was a better QB.
Fun list.
One area that really shows how "average" we were is the Dbacks. I think you will see a lot more talent at the DB position than we've had in the past.
Some people are so last century, lol, and I'm certainly not a movin on Penn Stater. This century team.
I can't dispute these choices but it really locks in for me that our football program has been in decline for a long time. These players are far inferior to those in the late 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.
'Far inferior'? Bull whackey. Guess what? The past always looks and seems bigger and better.
Both of the 2005 and 2008 teams were small hiccups from undefeated regular seasons and comparable to any of JVP's undefeated teams. That 2002 team also had some amazing talent on both sides of the ball. I think the "dark years" at the turn of the century sometimes overshadow the great teams of the 2000s.
