in the Nolf-Hidlay semifinal at end of 1st period? Haven’t seen or heard the basis for reversing the TD for Hidlay. Thanks.

I heard that they were not in rear standing position and therefore reaction time was allowed. In that reaction time, the clock expired.

That is what I am gathering. So Hidlay Did not have control and Nolf was peeling out as time expired.

I’d love to have a civil and intelligent conversation about this. If it’s given, the match takes an entirely different course. Hard to say what the end result would’ve been. No shame on Nolf.

Clock did not expire. After the challenge, there were 4 seconds left in the first period.

Is there an doubt Nolf would come out offence firing. Props to hidlay but result still could have been the same.

It was very close. Nolf's hold on Hidlay slipped, but by the time Hidlay was in control Nolf had his hands off the mat. Technically no takedown but close as can be.
