Wow, it's been weeks since we've seen a post like this. I'm surprised!
I don't want to be talking to little boys on the web. I'd appreciate your keeping your mindless/pointless crap of threads that I post.
We know you like the new way.
We know you can't deny that good threads get buried. And, we know that won't stop you from trying to deny it with 140 character or less kiddie posts.
Because, at heart...you are a child.
How do good threads get buried? Post a comment and it goes straight to the top. Thread view is where a good topic would end up buried 3 pages deep after just a day or two.
I with you MMII. I spend more time on MSN.com now.Do you realize what you just said?
to find a good post, simply post a comment in it - makes sense to me
New format is drivel... Old topics hang around like a urinary tract infection (Gerry DINardo, former PSU commits that went on to have poor careers et al)
I don't need people top-posting and bumping topics that are already beaten to death

I fail to see anything not to like about the new format. The board tells you if there are new adds to threads you previously participated in and it takes you back to where you last left the forum. Since it takes you back to the threads you last participated in, you can bump it back up to the top of the board by adding a post. On the other hand, if the topic is not getting enough play to keep it on the board, it should be bumped off.
I think those who are complaining would be complaining about any change.
