This morning was my time to order single game tickets through NLC. I got my 12 for OSU but they are clearly selling out quickly. You can see the impact of the higher number of season ticket holders as there are less single game tickets available, even for the lesser games. Ordered my Pitt tickets too. Two ticket limit as in 2016.

Happy shopping to those looking for more tickets.

12?! Jesus, I'm hoping to get 2 but I fully expect they'll be gone by the time it's my turn to buy.

Anyone willing to buy 2 OSU for me? Can give you a little extra on top too. My on sale is days away and they will be long gone, before I have to overpay on stubhub.

I just called but won't be eligible based on NLC points until 2:00 PM tomorrow afternoon. I have 415 points. I guess that's good, but I know some have more than that, obviously.

What he said. I'd be willing to do the same because by the 18th for my turn to buy they will be long, long gone.

Howie, I tried a little after noon, screen flashed " item no longer available". Anyone get tickets after 12:30 today? I have 900+ points.

Let me know how you made out with the available tickets.

900 points. Impressive. I feel inadequate now.
Don't, the points become some what of a joke. There are about 2,000 NCL members ahead and about 18,000 +/- behind me. To gain anything special from the NLC 1,000 points +. The NCL did get me good tickets for my grandson and friends at the BIG Championship. After 2011 & the crap that came down in mid 2012, Karen & I stopped giving $3,000 and gave up the reserved parking Red ( stall1438). We now give the minimum. I had upper south seats (6) in front rows of two sections. Our required donation was $600 total, we loved PSU so much that I would give up vacation money and use it for the Levi Lamb fun and distributed to all of the sports.

I don't feel inadequate, occasionally I feel like a sap. But i did help a kid with 3 semesters of school. I feel good about that, but not so much with Penn State at this time.

Yeah, sometimes it seems that way.

He was able to purchase 2 for me, but not together

Maybe the NLC is doing the distribution in a fair way for their members. I don't know. So many tickets set aside, say, for each level of donations (points). I think that would be proper. The most tickets for the higher donors, less for the next level and so on. This way members at the lowest level will have a chance to get tickets.

That would be my hope. BTW, I have 4 season tickets already. Trying to get these for friends.

Good, maybe they are being fair to the club members. I'm not looking for OSU tickets, my wife asked me earlier in case our youngest granddaughter from Alabama wants tickets. She is going to become a resident of PA, living with us or my son, attend Lehman high and enroll in Penn State in 2019. We'll probably just give her our tickets for the game. It's becoming difficult to make the night games.

Why? The over 2 hour drive home in the wee hours of the morning?

Not the ride at all, making the day in State College then wind up for the game. At 69, those injuries and back surgeries from the early 90's are causing much pain in the neck lower back and legs. That's why I have HC seating along the field. Couldn't sit the entire game on the bench seats.

The year before when we had that great end of season run, Iowa, OSU & MSU, I gave the seats to my grand boys. Same last year.

Was in the system at 3:00 PM. Only scattered singles left for Ohio State. 944 points here. I didn't see an application for Pitt tickets which means I probably didn't make the point cutoff.

I just logged in at 4:15. Something is messed up with the website at this moment because every single game was showing as unavailable. I called the ticket office and the lady said she was getting a few calls about this issue and would notify her manager.

I asked about OSU tickets and she indicated the only thing available was scattered singles - did not have two together. There was availability for all other games.

Happy hunting, guys.

I got the same error. It occurred because I logged in a few minutes early. The system won't show you availability until your scheduled time and I think you have to log out if you logged in early to actually see seat inventory. (The prohibition on not showing you seat inventory if you logged in early will persist past your scheduled time if you logged in early)

My friend said she was able to purchase starting at 2 today and she was able to get 4 together south upper end zone for Ohio State. I think she searched by best available rather than using the seating map. I have no idea if that made a difference but it sounds like some of you guys who had earlier slots weren't able to get tickets.

was just trying to see what was available about 5 minutes before my time. got the same thing. called at ten, asked if they had any o$u tix together, was told they had plenty. got 5 on the east side upper about the 40.

You basically have to log in right at your time. You can't just reload the page or anything. Logged in a minute early, you won't see the seats.

what are the benefits of the NLC these days? I have over 2000 points but have not made a donation since joe was fired. is it worth it to me to make a donation if i don't want season tix?
With that many points I'd continue making the minimum donation simply to keep my membership active. That way I'd keep myself near the front of the line when it came to bowl tickets.

My slot is 2:00 PM tomorrow. I called and that's what Sam, the guy I spoke to, told me.

The ticket reps are millennial dbags. I was standing next to one and he turns to his clients ... screaming like an asshole, hair slicked back fashionista to the max ... turns and looks at them and says " is there anything better than this" jumping around "woos yea baby" forces a high five ... "this is what Penn State Football is all about"

Penn State was getting a beatdown from Northwestern in 2014.

Yeah, the rep who assigned to me is kind of annoying. He is a very persistent salesman however, he will hound me to upgrade to seat backs, tries to get me to max out the number of tickets I am eligible to buy at my donation level every year, and never misses to ask me to participate in seats for soldiers which I have no problem doing. Doing his job, I guess...

He has helped me out a few times. Last year when season tickets were mailed late he overnighted me duplicate number reserved passes to the early season games because I didn't have my passes in hand yet (I have two numbered spots) and I needed to send some to others I was meeting up with and sell a few extra.

When I inquired about ORV availability for this year he said forget it, asked which games I wanted to bring an RV to, and sent me RV passes for other lots at no expense. (I do like the atmosphere of ORV which they killed by doubling the size of the spots.)

I wish Bud Meridith wasn't "retired"

Sorry to hear you had a bad interaction.back in 2014. My experience is the opposite. I've worked with several of the IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions staff over the past 5 years obtaining group tickets and I have been extremely satisfied. James Greco who has recently been promoted to General Manager is very customer satisfaction oriented. There presently are 11 IMG staffers in the ticket sales office and only 1 was on staff in the 2014 time period you cite. see http://www.gopsusports.com/tickets/img-learfield.html.
