I just was walking through Walmart in Camdenton, MO (Lake of the Ozarks) to pick up some motor oil and a filter for my truck and saw a woman wearing a Navy Wrestling sweatshirt. I stopped to speak to the couple to see if they had any specific affiliation with Navy and the wrestling program. As it turns out, their son Brad Gazaway upset Troy Sunderland in the early 90s when I believe Troy was ranked #1 in the country. Small world.

😂 no, but I objected when they subtly mentioned Iowa being the center of wrestling.

Seriously though, they were very nice people and the kid went to the Naval Academy and served. Kudos to him.

Later I was reading that the father was a stud basketball player in Iowa even though he was only about 5’8”.
