ESPN2 B team is a big dropoff from the kid that does our high school soccer gamesidiots
With the benefit of hindsight you are correct. But so are theyidiots
idiots
idiots
Smith is the most fundamentally sound LB PSU has on roster. Vandelinden could make this "natural MLB" even better. The kid "has it"idiots

I forgot that Brandon Smith is only a junior too. That's great.Regardless "if" Smith is a dropoff from Cabinda or not. You have to love the fact that this only makes the depth stronger for the future. A++ to this team guys!

For two seasons the CURRENT staff have been telling Brandon Smith he didn't have the "measurables" and talent to play linebacker, even though he excelled on the Scout Team. It wasn't until they were forced to play him due to injuries to the starters that Smith was able to prove them wrong. Thankfully, the CURRENT coaches have now digested their helping of crow and added him to the depth chart.yes please try not to give any of the CURRENT staff credit.
idiot.
All of Lewisburg was cheering. That much I know. The announcers are idiots. That much I know as well.
I believe they are related to the Varano's, a well known Mount Carmel family. Some great athletes in that family too.not just Lewisburg- Mt Carmel too !!!
His wife's parents are from MCA

A bit of trivia: Ron Vanderlinden was instrumental in convincing Brandon Smith to pass on the Ivy League and follow his dream to Penn State. I have to believe he saw something in Smith.
Free drafts at Mattucci's!
I've had a man crush on Smith all season. As I've posted numerous times, he has a nose for the ball. And he's a sure tackler. Very often he's on a direct beeline to the ball.Smith is the most fundamentally sound LB has on roster. Vandelinden could make this "natural MLB" even better. The kid "has it"

ahh the Willow Café
There's a new bar in town - the Hard Coal Café down on the Northeast end of town - used to be Czeponis'
Great food and only 1/2 block from my House !!!!!
And exactly half way between my house and the In-Laws !! hahaha
I give the CURRENT staff credit for realizing their mistake and playing Brandon Smith more than just special teams, which he still plays. Not sure why you called Peetz Pool Boy an "idiot" though?Awesome bit of trivia. Gee I wonder who helped to develop that talent. Hmmmm
Honest its ok to give the CURRENT staff some credit, it doesn't mean your dissing Joe, really its ok.

This is why you turn off the sound, listen to Jones and Ham and deal with the TV delay.
Been to Mattucci's many times, also Dorko's. Great prices. Also another place operated by an older fella....forget the name of the place because, well....you know how it goes sometimes. It was on a corner where you come in from Centralia.
Is he a junior? Don't recall his name before this season...special teams? did he redshirt? I know he is (was) a walk-onI forgot that Brandon Smith is only a junior too. That's great.
Not a fan of Dorkos although we won them a softball championship
I'm wondering if the older fellas place coming in from Centralia was "Eddie's Cafe"
If it was that was my grandfathers place and he had the BEST Boilo anywhere!
OK, no I was told it was "Jack's Place" from a witness. I'm told the place I thought I was at was Shaulinski's.
Shaulinkskis is at 5th and Market when you come in from Centralia
Jacks place is now what the Hard Coal is
If that's known as Diamondtown, that's the place.
Makes me wonder who BOB tried to recruit for LB coach before he had to consider Vanderlinden. I have to think it may be a while before PSU has another LB coach with his ability (and humility). For two seasons the CURRENT staff have been telling Brandon Smith he didn't have the "measurables" and talent to play linebacker, even though he excelled on the Scout Team. It wasn't until they were forced to play him due to injuries to the starters that Smith was able to prove them wrong. Was the INT during Purdue's first possession of half 2? If so why was he in then?
That would be Brent Pry..the defensive coordinator who seems to take a "coaching vacation" every first half. For two seasons the CURRENT staff have been telling Brandon Smith he didn't have the "measurables" and talent to play linebacker, even though he excelled on the Scout Team.
