It might, but unfortunately, the Bucs still have 10 remaining games against bottom-feeder Reds and Brewers, who they can't beat. Add that to their road trip out west and many head-to-heads vs. Cards and Cubs. I really hope I'm wrong, but I just don't think the Bucs have any solid starting pitching at this point to win as many as they will lose in September.
 
They have as much chance of doing that as the Steelers have in stopping an opponent's offense

I am as big a Bucco fan as anyone, but realistically the division race is 99+% over. Even if they would sweep, which is highly improbable given how they are playing the last couple weeks, I still think there's a 90+% chance it's over. The Cards aren't coming back to them.

I would like to see them right the ship with two wins in each of the next two series to keep the season from unraveling. The starting rotation is a huge concern for me right now, but it all begins with one good outing. Maybe Happ will give it to them tonight....
