The Leigh dual has been shown on the BTN network the last few years but didn't see the dual listed on the schedule that came out yesterday. The ASU dual was on ESPN 2 last year so hoping this year's dual will be shown as well.

Just something to be aware of. There have been more a few occasions I have attempted to watch a match on Pac12 only to find it wasn't available or that the streaming started 3 or 4 matches into the dual.

Nitlion, hi! A couple questions for you, good sir....
What's your TV provider?
What's your general geo location?
Does your provider provide Pac12 Network?

I'm in NoVA, on Verizon, which doesn't carry Pac12, been looking for viewing options, but they're looking pretty bleak. This seems to be my next best option to try:

My VPN has a San Francisco connection so I am assuming that I could likely watch it.

I have comcast in central PA and I know when I was watching it wasn't because of Comcast. Right now i am uncertain how I got the Pac12. I will have to look. It could have been flo, maybe the espn+ channel. When I get it I will post it. As we get closer I am certain others will also. There is almost always a way.

Thanks, man.

Of course it's super dope that we're wrestling fans living in this era of the Information Age, but it's still pretty wild-westy out here these days. Fans gotta stick together--to make sure we don't get stuck by The Man!

The PAC12 Network is under the ESPN umbrella. If you have a streaming device such as a Roku, go to the ESPN app and you will find the PAC 12 channel. You will have to sign in to your cable or satellite provider. Very similar to the BIG10 channel being under the Fox Sports app.

Does anyone else have trouble using Chromecast on the new Fox Sports app? Fox Sports Go still has the option but when you click on your event and it reroutes you to the new Fox Sports app it doesn't correlate.

Sounds like a good match for Flo to stream. Willie, CP, make it happen, Pleeeeease!

Yes, but your cable or satellite provider has to provide PAC 12 channel. I don't believe mine does.

No it doesn’t have to provide the PAC 12 Network. I have DirecTV and I do not have the PAC 12 Network. I am able to watch the PAC 12 Network on my Roku within the ESPN app.
Oh man, I hope you're right. That would be huge. Thanks.

Side Note: Flo has the PSU vs Navy match starting at 4:56 am. I know that might be a deal breaker for some but hang in there, it will get better.

As long as your cable/satellite provider carries ESPN, simply log into the ESPN app and sign in using your providers login. I checked it yesterday and was able to watch the PAC 10 network.

Lion Fan,

if I might ask a few follow-up questions to see if I need to make any updates to spreadsheet:

1. Does your normal provider carry the PAC 12 as a “regular” channel in addition to accessing via ESPN?
2. May I ask what media market you live in?
3. When you go to the ESPN app schedule and look at the “Networks” filter, do you see PAC12 listed? (I see the ESPN Family, ACC, SEC, Big12, Texas Longhorn, Big West, etc listed as options for me, but no PAC12. )

Not doubting your info, just trying to understand if there is a logical explanation as to why not all can see the PAC12 listed via ESPN app and thinking it might be a media market nuance. o_O

thanks!

1. No. My DirecTV subscription does not include the PAC 12 channel.
2. The Harrisburg PA market.
3. Yes it shows the PAC 12 Network, along with many other college conference channels. I use the ESPN app on a Roku. It’s located at or near the bottom of the app.

My sister-in-law has Blue Ridge Cable TV. BRCATV does not carry BTN. She tried to access BTN via a Roku and the FoxSports app using her BRCATV login. BTN was not showing up on her FoxSports app. She used my DirecTV login and the BTN app magically was there. This might be similar to what you are experiencing. It may well be a media market or provider issue. What is strange though, my provider DirecTV, does not carry the PAC 12 Network in my media market.

Thanks for the additional info, I’m going to look into a few things myself tomorrow.

I think Lion Fan might be a bit mistaken, I have direct tv (Scranton/WB market) and on the ESPN app it does not list the PAC12 channel. It does show PAC12 under "conferences" but I think that just sorts the various events ESPN is covering by each conference. The "channels" is a separate menu and does not list the PAC12 network. It does show the ACC, SEC and Big12 networks but no PAC12 on mine. I hope I am wrong though.

rmg78 I think you are correct. I scrolled down to “conferences” and saw the PAC 12 channel. Yes, if I scroll down further, the PAC 12 channel is not listed under “channels”. Thank you for pointing this out. My bad...

FYI...I am screwed:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:. Scranton, PA never heard of The PAC 12 channel.....
Thank God for being able to follow The Blue White Illustrated - THE WRESTLING ROOM chat superpowers!

Another alternative is to go to Tempe and see it live. I decided to put off the Iceland trip this year and go on a southwest vacation. Vegas, southern Utah national parks, Grand Canyon, and ending at the PSU vs ASU match. Any other board members going?
Can't do it but absolutely love the idea.

As someone who has done most of that -- over two trips and still not all of it -- knowing what I know now, I'd head south after Zion (or maybe after Bryce Canyon). Antelope Canyon in Page AZ is spectacular and not to be missed. But it's out of the way if you do the SE UT parks.

1-2 nights in Page, depending on whether the full-day boat from Lake Powell to Rainbow Bridge is available this late in the year. Other day = Antelope Canyon (best around noon), then Horseshoe Bend on the way out of town.

The other 3 Utah parks (Capitol Reef, Arches, Canyonland) are closer to SLC than to Vegas. Plus they might be subject to park and road closures for high altitude weather. And if you do them, it's a metric sh**-ton of driving. Bryce is also at high altitude, though it's closer to Zion and near the north-south road to Page.

If you do all the UT parks, then do Monument Valley -- its entrance is on the road from Arches and Canyonland back into AZ. You'll need 2 hrs for the self-drive on the unpaved "road" plus at least an hour recovery from that road. Highly recommend the nearby Kayenta AZ Burger King because it doubles as a museum for the World War II Navajo Code Talkers (plus that area is extremely limited).

Also, Sedona is worth at least driving thru and stretching the legs around the visitor center and the chapel, and maybe downtown -- though if you need an extra night's stay, Flagstaff is pleasant and far less touristy and expensive.

This is a helpful thread. I’ll be searching out ItalianLion for a bit of help at some point...worst case for ASU is JB on the radio! That’s not bad :):).

You forgot about the most spectacular natural wonder of all - the Grand Canyon! It's pretty much impossible to capture on camera the real scale of what it looks like. The first time you get to the rim and look out over everything is really mind boggling. It's a must see for anyone visiting AZ.

Scranton has Comcast. If you have their service it's on channel 1329.

P.S. I plan to be at the ASU dual. I told my wife that Nov 22 is already booked and not to make any other plans for that day. Anyone else planning to be there?

I didn't forget the Grand Canyon -- it was implied since in his original.

Guess I wasn't explicit enough, so here goes:

Las Vegas: 3 days even for non-gamblers like me -- lots of other stuff to see like Hoover Dam, the nuclear museum next tto UNLV, the Mob Museum downtown, and the Neon Museum -- late night tour highly recommended with signs lit up. At least one meal at Lotus of Siam, quite possibly the best Thai restaurant in the US. Get same-day steeply discounted show tickets at the Fashion Show mall on the Strip. Penn & Teller show very good. For some sheer stupidity: the black-ligiht KISS-themed mini golf course (I think at the Rio), with Gene Simmons' tongue as the 18th hole.

Zion: 1 day. Do 2 short hikes (at the Lodge and the Narrows) and maybe get out at another bus stop to look around. The hike at the Lodge is nice, though the "waterfall" is less exciting than it sounds. Walk to The Narrows is great, though don't attempt The Narrows itself at this time of year, chest-high cold water ... Also not a good time of year to do Angel's Landing. Zion is at 4000 ft, hikes are just hilly enough you'll notice the air thinning.

Here is a decision point -- whether or not to do Bryce Canyon. I'd say yes, even thouh most of the park will likely be closed. Also, the hotels there are generally crappy, severely overpriced, or both -- and many of the B&Bs in nearby Panguish are seasonal. That said, the main entrance area is the best part of the park and will likely be open -- **only** at 7k ft. (The southern end of the park gets over 9k ft; it's worth seeing if open and already in the park, but not a deal killer if closed) It'll be much colder than Zion.

The drive along Rt 12 near Bryce is beautiful. West of the park, it's about rocks and natural road tunnels. East of the park it's about open skies and big views.

if no Bryce, then drive directly from Zion to Page. If that's too far, maybe spend the night in Kanab UT.

Page: 1-2 nights, see above. Note, Antelope Canyon is accessible by private (native) tours only; National Parks card not honored.

Grand Canyon: 1 night. Do the South Rim -- North Rim is out of the way for PHX, and possibly closed in November. Stay inside the Park if at all possible. Hotels outside the park are crappy and expensive, and not that close. Be in the park for sunrise. Lunch in the Lodge. With the shuttle, you can do this before sunset and be on your way.

Note, do not even consider the Grand Canyon Skywalk -- it's far out of the way and not part of the National Park.

After leaving the Canyon, spend the night in Flagstaff. Pleasant college town, a couple good restaurants and breweries. Or Sedona, though it'll be more expensive. PHX is too far away -- 5 hrs at night, and you'll want to be fully alert for the downhill parts of I-17.

On the way to to PHX: Sedona. Cliff dwellings at Montezuma Castle National Monument (about 45 min). Then onto PHX. Stay in Old Town Scottsdale.

While in PHX (other than the match): Heard Museum (downtown) -- tremendous museum of southwest native cultures. Desert Botanical Garden. Frank Lloyd Wright's house in far NE Scottsdale (evening tour if possible). For some schlocky fun: there's an Old West theme park in the southern suburbs.
