Davis was 30-32 the last two years but is only 6-13 this year. Has anybody done an analysis of his 7 FGs?

Practice Practice Practice. Obviously if your sticking with the kicker you could change the holder for perhaps a psychological boost. At this moment a surprise weakness from what was anticipated to be a team strength.

The team will just need to score all TDs and the FG issue is fixed. .

Seriously, who knows what has the kicking game so off this year but if it's not fixed it will come back to hurt the team in the next 3 weeks. Look at UDub last night- on the road and struggling. They miss 2 close FGs and end up losing 13-7 rather than winning in regulation or going to OT (just as their O was coming to life with the no huddle).

if you watch,the snaps are all to the inside. The holder has to adjust to catch and place.

the two "misses" he had in the last two years were actually blocked kicks. this is the first year he has actually been missing the kick. right now there does not look to be confidence in this part of STs. that brings you to the issue of 3rd and short especially in the RZ. this brings up FG situations or 4th and short situations. right now 4th and goal at the 1 is not a good situation for this team.

Wasn't Joe Nastasi the holder that snuck one in against Michigan in the "snow bowl" ? Get Joe up, I think he coaching HS football right down the street. Just need confidence.
