So top 50 RB Quinton Martin was at PSU today

Would love to land him and the kid from VA, the one who called his PSU offer a "game changer" (that it until AL and GA got into the picture).

He’ll get 5-10 carries in year one, then take the reigns as a Soph and Jr. I would imagine he’d even share some of that load with the two incoming backs from ‘23. PSU/Seider protect their backs from too much load, almost to a fault. Low mileage heading into the NFL.
I will assume you meant 5-10 per game in first year. And that is assuming that the both of the top two stay healthy all year. So assuming one misses a couple games he could get serious playing time.

Assuming he enrolls here, of course.

Yeah, injuries are always a concern at rb position! We were seriously lucky last season with Allen and Singleton, but not so lucky a few years back with Cain who was never the same again post injury.

Haven’t followed real closely , but I thought I read some place that Martin projected more as an LB at the next level given his size?

Is it known that he’d prefer to play running back?

TIA!!

Size and athleticism to do either at a very high level. But he's listed as the #2 RB in his class in the nation so I'm guessing RB unless new info shows otherwise.

Until he grows like all 11th graders do. He wants to play RB but will end up at LB.

I think the big RB is under utilized. I would love a big RB that runs people over. Most recruiting services had James Connor listed as DE. I hope he grows and sticks at RB.

So if he does something really great ("Saquon-esque?") that wins the game, can we then call it a "Quinn Martin Production?" :D

Listen, he’s so talented that in his freshman year u simply play him wherever u need him in-order for us to win a championship, then, by his sophomore year put him wherever he wants to play quite honestly!

I still love the approach taken with Miles. Miles was willing to take 10 snaps for a few years under Barkley. Started his senior year and was drafted in round one, right. His body never took the pounding in collage. He still ended up being a high round pick. Seems like a win win for PSU and Miles.

He left after his junior year, so he was a starter as a junior.
