If Slovis leaves, I’d rather have someone like him start than, say, Phil Jurkovec. Would rather have a guy start for three years instead of having a revolving door of transfer QBs.what’s the word? Johannesburg!
Good player, stuck behind a five star kid that looks to challenge for one of the best QBs in PSU history. Good kid and would be a great pickup for Pitt
How good of a QB do you need to win the Coastal? Sorry.
Considering we’re abolishing divisions, he’d have to be REALLY good to win the Coastal next year. How good of a QB do you need to win the Coastal? Sorry.
But he’s a Yinzer!!I’d rather have veilleux than jurkovec if I was a Pitt guy. Multiple years with upside vs a guy who is going to be a 5th year senior and has never lived up to his recruiting rankings.
I appreciate the candidness, but he’s fine. I expect some chirping when I post over here.Yeah, that's a pretty stupid response to an honest question. Do better.
He blew you guys off twice already. He needs you more than you need him.But he’s a Yinzer!!![]()
Plus, there appears to be a concern with him being injury prone. The only upside I see is that he’s familiar with our offensive coordinator’s system since they were together at Boston College. He blew you guys off twice already. He needs you more than you need him.
His next stop will be his 3rd school, and the 2023 season will be his 6th year. His best season was probably 2020, his 1st year at BC.I’d rather have veilleux than jurkovec if I was a Pitt guy. Multiple years with upside vs a guy who is going to be a 5th year senior and has never lived up to his recruiting rankings.
But is he interested in you? Methinks he wants to go to a good program with a quality team!😉Apparently we’re interested in him.
Better than Slovis, apparentlyHow good of a QB do you need to win the Coastal? Sorry.
I think Slovis has had enough of Pitt.....not the other way around.Better than Slovis, apparently
Apparently we’re interested in him.
If they get him enrolled in January I believe he'll be their starter in May, after Spring practice. If you can get him to enroll in January, he might be your starter in September.
Slovis has officially entered the portal, so we shall see what happens. Wouldn’t be the first time that an ex-Nitt potentially helped us recently (Petrishen). If they get him enrolled in January I believe he'll be their starter in May, after Spring practice.
If he enrolls surely Slovis would leave, and I believe Duzzy would like a QB as his starter that he can build around for 2-3 years.
But I believe I was more impressed with CV in his limited opportunities on the field than some here.......
No thanks. Jokes are fun.Yeah, that's a pretty stupid response to an honest question. Do better.

I guess that’s the only way this was going to end.
Great news. Just couldn’t root for V to do well at Pitt. Now if he goes outside the big I will cheer on his success.

Why move fro one back up spot to another?
He is banking on PJ to continue his ways of getting hurt. Why move fro one back up spot to another?
Thanks for ruining my day.😢
Agree completely with the 1st part, any maybe it was a one time thing, but were you in a cave last year? But a one year QB is not what programs need to build a winner, and Duzzy has not had success recruiting H.S, QB talent and developing it.
Might be true but using Dunlap as a source is almost as bad as using Poni. Lots of clicks, not much substance
The word is he's gone. Concentrate on who is here, not who isn't
