Sounds like Izzard and Smith are discipline related suspensions. Theo traveled to Purdue and JFF said he hoped that he was going to be available but was not after the game. So some type of injury (people surmised concussion based on Theo appearing not to have any issues moving) that maybe they held him out against Ohio for precautions knowing that he was not needed. Be a big plus to get Izzard and Johnson available for this week.

CJF said that they thought Theo would be cleared by medical but the paper work didn't complete by Purdue game time. (remember the lawsuit filed against PSU and the medical staff a few years back). They had Theo travel because they thought he'd be cleared. My guess is that they held him out of Ohio for precautionary reasons. I am pretty sure he'll play versus Auburn unless he got reinjured.

Correct, I dont think Izzard and Smith Vilbert will be meaningful contributors this year. Theo Johnson should be 1st or 2nd String Tight End this year.
