It has been lost in all the World Series hubbub, but did anyone catch Dortmund's last CL game against Sporting Lisbon where Pulisic got a start. I'm halfway through my recording and pretty much every touch he's making something happen. He is what we've been waiting for - no more hustle guys with the touch of a blacksmith in the midfield.

He had a Bergkamp-esque take from a dead run that created their first goal and a beautiful tiki-taka sequence with Goetze that resulted in him hammering the crossbar.

The sharks are already circling him (e.g. Real Madrid). I actually think he'd fit in perfectly with Barca, but I want him playing first team for now.

Dortmund will list an impossible price for Barca and Madrid and will then sell him to direct rival Bayern for cheap. It's what they do.

He performed well against Madrid last month. I have heard absolutely zero rumors that Madrid were interested though (especially not with the upcoming transfer ban). He could slot in for Luka Modric in a few years but they already have another young Croatian (Kovacic) for that

He most likely never go to Liverpool. There was talk that Borussia Dortmund would never sell him to Liverpool because of the manager situation.

The kid is the real deal though. I mean, without a doubt and not USA real deal, I mean he could be one of the best in the world real deal. He is smart, he has a great touch, he is not selfish, he doesn't give up and now he just needs to put it in the back of the net a little more. The last two games I watched him play he had some great shots on goal and hit the post twice.

Just turned 18, in September.

I'm a Borusse and while all of our youngsters are seeing more playing time than expected due to injuries, Pulisic is starting to play well enough to cement his role. His team play is getting better each week. Can't wait to see him as he matures physically as well. He will be a poaching target, and while BVB isn't afraid to spend money on players, they have adapted more of a smart money approach and have been focusing a bit more on their academy development and building relationships with youngsters before they blow up. They were a financial mess in the early & mid 2000s. Just a year or two after they won the Bundesliga in 01-02, Bayern of all people actually loaned them a couple million Euro just to make payroll.

Ugh, damn. Would love to see him in red.

As a longtime USMNT fan, how can you not be excited about Pulisic. Barring injury, you can already see him as likely the best player in US history. It is ridiculous to see him perform at such a high level against the very best competition in the world at only 18. The speed, the ball skills, the creativity, the doggedness, I've simply never seen that combination of strengths in a US player before.

I caught it. That kid is light years beyond his age with his poise. If Green and him continue to develop the US will continue to take steps forward internationally.

Right now, Dortmund's lineup is overstocked with attacking midfielders/wingers. While they lost Mkhitaryan to ManU, they brought in two experienced, proven scorers in Schürrle & Götze and two other up and coming youngsters in Dembélé & Mor, both 19yr old. Throw in Kagawa & Reus and you have seven quality players for three spots. The three teenagers (Pulisic, Dembélé & Mor) have been getting a lot of time due to injuries.

Even though Dortmund has struggled at times this season, they're still in 5th place, which has allowed them to keep Reus rehabbing. Once they decide to let Reus play and Schürrle's 100% I'm thinking Pulisic will be squeezed out of the starting lineup. There are also rumors that Kagawa is headed back to Japan during the January transfer window, but that still leaves six.

While he didn't score on Saturday, Christian still had a good game. He had a really nice steal up close and while he took one quick look at what would have been a tough shot through traffic on goal, he quickly passed it off to Aubameyang for an easy goal. Just a few games ago,Pulisic probably would have taken the tough shot rather than feed someone else. I think he's doing everything he can to make a strong case to stay in the lineup.

I think that Ousmane Dembélé could be something special as well. He had 12 goals & 5 assists in 26 games in France's Ligue 1 last year.
