Social distancing must be working on campus. A campus wide alert just went out that a black bear is loose

I think it's just a hirsute professor who taught an arts class, Dr. Harry Potter.

Beautiful animals worthy of much respect.

I’ll chime in on this thread since I saw a beautiful cinnamon bear today while running my bird dog in the Gallatin Canyon. Young bear completely unfazed by our passing by at fifty yards. First thirty years, saw few black bears here in Montana. Just here and there. Last ten years, seems there is a black bear behind every tree. See them every year now behind our place in the fall. Can’t believe I hunted them In my younger days. Great animal to see and have around.

AGREE!!! Despite a lifetime hunter, although in my "old age" and for decades I've only archery hunted with my trusty ole Mathews, I've always felt I would rather look at a bear than ever kill one! "STAY CALM PICK A SPOT"

Is the saying goes, the bear is as afraid of you as you are of it. Unless it's a mama bear and the cubs are around. In that case, run for the dorm.

Maybe it’s Baylor trying to pull the U of Illinois stunt of sending recruiters to Happy Valley to recruit players?

Nice, Do you head to warmer climes for the winter or at least a winter respite?

I’m a nut job skier, so don’t leave in the winter except to maybe visit another ski area. Do take a FL fishing trip in April. Guess that‘s a winter/spring trip for these parts. See you’re a flats guy yourself, so you understand that stuff.
