I have stayed away from the this board and the news outlets for the last several days just not wanting to deal with going through all of the "crap" again. I can't stand the media outlets and how they run with and tell the story they want to tell. I also can't stand the endless speculation about what did or did not happen. Fact is we don't know.
With that being said, there is one request that can be made and hope it made by by the Paterno's. Since Joe is not here to defend himself, the only means to get to the truth is to ask the latest victim and good old Bernie submit to a lie detector test. It shouldn't be considered insensitive to the victim since they themselves decided to go public with this information. Let's find out once and for all what the truth is.
And before somebody gets into inadmissibility of a lie detector test, keep in mind this isn't a criminal proceeding. Let's just see if you're willing to put your money where your mouth is. If the victim does not agree i think we know why. If they do agree and pass then it has to be accepted and dealt with. However, if they fail, then there there might be potential criminal proceedings to recoup the money extorted from PSU.
