Here is a bit Hoops perspective that I think is important to be noted and where I think the PSU program is going.

1) I can say from experience that he most important position for a coach to recruit is a PG. PG's and guards in general win you big games in March. I have watched for years, the PG position is the most important get for a coach that is looking to build something special. In my opinion, the 2016 class and future classes can be strong, but make no mistake about it, if we are to be a good/special team in coming years, Tone Carr will be the head of the snake. Tony Carr and Pat Chambers will be linked. The development of Carr is imperative to this program.

2) As you saw last night, small ball can win you games, pace and space. This is where basketball is going. The days of two bigs on the court at the same time are vastly decreasing. You need space and shooters. This is why I believe Lamar Stevens and Joe Hampton are imperative. Guys who provide versatility, different skill sets, but players who allow you to play a certain style of pace. The pace is key.

3) Recruting wise, this 2016 class is huge to build momentum, simple as that. Good players want to play with other good players, which equals a good team. You need depth. A solid 8 man rotation, with lite drop of.

4) Shooting. Pat needs to be able to identify shooters out on the trail and develop. Shep is a good shooter. However, you need multiple shooters to create space for Carr and Shep to operate.

5) Lastly, I want to see an identity established, which I believe is already in the making. Chambers wants a tough, hard nosed, discipline team and I think that is what is in the ropes of being developed.

6) I believe Reeves will be asked to do multiple things next year. I see a lot of untaped talent in Reeves. If he can develop into the player I know he is capable of being it is going to be fun to see how he is used in the future.

Just a few thoughts and perspective to chew on for the program and what is coming forward, in my opinion.
