But the last few weeks have shown something new and disturbing in Donald Trump. He has become more incoherent, his speech more slurred, and his appearance more sloppy. He has cancelled appearances (apparently because he is "exhausted"), and he refuses to release ANY information concerning his health or medical records. The poor old codger is the oldest person ever to run for president in a general election campaign IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES. The OLDEST. And he is showing his age.
He just tweeted the following (in all caps, of course):
"60 MINUTES THOULD BE IMMEDIATELY TAKEN OFF THE AIR - ELECTION INTERFERENCE. CBS SHOULD LOSE ITS LICENSE. THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCANDAL IN BROADCAST HISTORY. KAMALA SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AND FORCED OFF THE CAMPAIGN, AND JOE BIDEN ALLOWED TO TAKE HIS RIGHTFUL PLACE."
Scandal? WHAT scandal? Trump refused to appear on 60 Minutes because they told him they were gonna fact check his assertions (aka lies). That's his right, but his refusal to participate hardly qualifies as a scandal.
Kamala should be investigated? For WHAT? And forced off the campaign so Joe Biden can "take his rightful place?" WHAT "rightful place?" Joe Biden elected not to pursue the Democratic presidential nomination, which was his absolute right. Kamala Harris secured the Democratic presidential nomination via a virtually unanimous vote of the delegates to the Democratic National Convention, all of which delegates are selected at the local level. It has worked that way for decades. Joe Biden had more primary votes. A lot more. SO WHAT?! He stepped down. He was not an option by the time the Democratic National Convention commenced.
Poor, old, and befuddled Donald Trump cannot understand that, much less accept it. He yearns for the earlier days, when he was running against Joe. Those days are gone, Donald, and they're not coming back. You now need to assume your rightful place, in an old folks home. Later on, you can be moved to the geriatric unit of a state or federal prison.
