This was tongue in cheek, in that Akron may be offended to be compared to Pitt, as opposed to Pitt being offended with the comparison with Akron.

The more that everything is about James Franklins' press conferences, the less it is about the pressure of battling for a national championship, and the easier it is for a team to play loose, have fun, and let it all play out on the field.
